The supranational company Black and Decker is famous primarily as a manufacturer of electric hand tools. At the beginning of 2002 the company opened an assembly plant in Ústí nad Labem-Trmice in the Czech Republic. The plant manufactures electric Black and Decker tools designed for homes and gardens and a line of professional products under the De WALT brand, including accessories. Black and Decker is one of the leading manufacturers of professional tools; its products are distributed to every corner of the world.
