
The František Bartoš Regional Library is a public establishment with a universal collection of books. The facility provides librarian and information services necessary for education, work, cultural development and leisure activities. The library offers printed and audio documents, connection to the Internet and other electronic information sources, places for studying and services for the blind and people with impaired vision. Apart from this the establishment regularly organizes lectures, author`s readings, courses, debates on literary and musical themes for children and adults, plus exhibitions. The library participates in the publication of the magazine ZVUK and books issued within the Edition Zlín Region. The establishment is situated in the former Komenský School, built in 1897 after a design by Dominik Fey. The building is accessible for people in wheelchairs.
