The settlement Osada in the area around the Krušné Mountains has been recalled since 1273 and its origin is connected with colonizing activities of the Premonstratensians of Teplá. The memory of the village's past is being evoked by the chateau in the Empire style from 1540, by St. Michael's church with the cemetery and the so-called Stöhr's House. Nowadays Děpoltovice is a well-known recreational area and the Děpoltovický Pond is a much sought-after area by the lovers of water sports. Lovers of horse riding are there in the right place.
